Heya, it's me, Neko. I'm turning this journal entry over to Cherry so she can describe the manga and it’s characters since she can describe them much better than me! (She's the one who created this whole thing, you know. I'm just the one who "draws the pretty pictures". )

Short (hee hee says you!) description of the manga:

This is the story of the gifted outcasts of the world utilizing their wondrous power...for evil The lives of the most notorious criminals, daring thieves, and fatal murderers all find a path to this sanctuary for those beyond the law, to Assassain Academy...but some are forced upon the path of crime. A gifted young girl is discovered by a juvenile team of thieves-in-training on the night of an important heist. Although her power of anthro transformations is not a rarely seen gift there is a slight twist to it: she strangely feral and has no memory of her cryptic past. ((Waaaaaaaah! Neko won't let me write more! ))

Character Descriptions

...I'm never letting Neko write the names for the character descriptions AGAIN! Look at what she did to my precious characters *sob* My poor babies!! *wipes a tear*

Night Arrow (Night):
The untamed heroine of the story. Toward the beginning her speech and thoughts are simple and she often refers to animal nature to deal with situations and understand those around her but we nonetheless begin to see her develop as she adapts to strange world she doesn't understand. She has golden eyes that convert to a cat-like appearance when angry. She has thick brown hair and a fairly large streak of vanity. Stubborn, rebellious, and hot-headed she doesn't get along well with many of the other students although her deep loyalty and possessive/protective nature connects her with the few friends she does manage to find.

Cobra:
Girls get ready to squeal because here come the prince of all charms, the crafty cutie and the official and numba one bishie of our tale....Drum roll please! Cobra!! He is the love interest of the story and knows his way around girls. He's well known in the school for weeding out the strong in the freshman pack, wooing them, then ditching them, leaving the love struck females with broken hearts and (if successful) confidence. Having been at the Academy his entire life, he doesn't remember his deserting parents and blames his abandonment on his snake-like skin on his back and on the back of his arms, legs, and neck and of his black eyes... ashamed of his basic oddness despite of the oddness around him. Because of this he is very bitter on the inside preferring to stick to an "Eat or get eaten" policy. Night was one of the few exceptions. Fast friends in the beginning Night and our favorite Georgie Porgie (ya know. Kissed the girls and made them cry) they drift away after certain "actions" taken by Cobra. His gifts in general are snake-like characteristics. He has above average strength and venom sacs in his mouth which he can spit at victims to momentarily disable or burn them. He is the leader of the team "Fatal Strike".

Sparky ((Since she so deserves to come before Lu! XP ~Neko)):
((Nuh-uh!! Lu is Night's bestest friend in teh whole wide world! So there! X-P))
For those of who are familiar with Neko and her antics (a.k.a. Neko-savvy. lol) I have an exclusive one sentence description. Sparky is Neko with a immense boost of confidence, with uber-nerd smarts on anything that runs on electricity, with teh ability to manipulate electric currents...on a major sugar high. You may now run for the hills. Now for those who don't know of the "impending doom" that will torment our characters til they die (and will probably continue to torment after she clones them. JK...or am I?) here is the gist. In the academy having a technological advantage can save you in all situations. The nerds have an advantage because they are desperately needed whether to knock out security systems or to build the personalized weaponry needed by some. Sparky is one of few that specializes in all areas. This is due to her dominance over all things powered by electricity and it kinda helps that she doesn't need to eat (tho she pigs out anyway) or sleep since she can utilize the electricity she stores in her body as energy. Unfortunately for all who know her, this means she's running on raw energy and for those of you who don't know raw energy= ADHD= complete chaos. But people put up with her "quirks" since she is so flippin smart. She is a friend/resource to the well-informed of the academy's students, such as Cobra, Lu, and their posses (sp?). She can pretty much do whatever she wants because of her standing and doesn't normal use very much tact but she is always optimistic, jumps at any challenge and is a bit of a tease. Because of her outspokenness she and Night fight...a lot, but despite their disagreements they somehow get along.

Illusion (Lu):
Oh wait! Now i remember why Sparky and Night aren't constantly at each other's throats! Ta-da! Behold our darling sheep among wolves! Illusion! (Lu for short) Soft spoken and caring she been taken under the wing by several friends who love her careful advice and constant knowledge of inner turmoil due to her gift as an empath. She can also manipulate the minds of others to see, feel, smell, etc. what she wants them to see, etc. In other words she creates illusion true to her name. As Night's roommate, she was the first one outside the "Fatal Strike" to understand Night's nature and became a constant social and mental mentor to Night while Night's lovingly protective nature kept Lu out of harm's way. Wow! This one was short! Still, I shouldn't give too much away.

Sonic:
A bishie dork and the love interest for Sparky! Like I said he's a dork and attempts to be a smooth ladies man but he always fails miserably. He is full of sarcastic humor and wears colorful shirts and sweatshirts to match his personality: loud and obnoxious. He's ALWAYS has something to say and makes sure that he's heard. It helps that he can produce sound waves at any pitch and any volume. When using this aptly named "Screech" in fight he prefers to use it to shatter eardrums disabling his opponent then finishing off with his unorthodoxy street fighting style.but he could do worse damage if he wished... A bit of a punk, he enjoys messing with people. He was like a big brother to Night before Cobra had to go and ruin it all. He and Sparky are bonded by their outspokenness and love of poking fun. He is the one who handles all the weaponry in the "Fatal Strike".

Acid (aka the "I Told You So" guy~Neko):
If I could think of one phrase to describe this guy it would be anal retentive. Everything needs to be perfectly organized in a certain way and if one mote of dust is out of place he goes wacko! Unfortunately for him he works with Sonic whose room looks like Hurricane Katrina hit it. This often causes problems and they often fight. It doesn't help that Acid takes everything way too seriously, including Sonic’s little jokes. Acid does have his uses. He is the official geek of "Fatal Strike" and makes all of Cobra's and Sonic's toys. He does know how to make guns and hack security systems and such though he could never hold a candle to Sparky since he's often in his own world in his room experimenting with an green glowing acid he produces from his hands that melts synthetic materials. Many of his toys are the results of his somewhat unreliable and occasionally dangerous experiments. he and Night aren't very close since she has the constant feeling this mouse-like boy would rather put her in a test tube than anything else. Acid has brown hair is a bit short for his age and has constant love of science and experimentation which he acquired from his father.

Fletch:
One of Lu's friend and both Lu's and Night's roommate. She is very lean, tall, tan and has a very athletic appearance. She has a take-charge attitude and unstoppable spirit. She can be pretty confrontational, letting her feelings be known with far more tact than Sparky. She's firm and solid in her beliefs and morals. Despite being younger that her sister Loom (I'll talk about her later) she, like Night, is very protective. It's this protective and some times blunt nature that makes her and Night friends. That and the fact that Fletch and Night constantly competed against each other, pushing and motivating each other. Fletch has extraordinary skills of hand-eye coordination. Coupled with her telescopic vision she is deadly with her customized crossbow (one of many creations form Sparky's workshop) and any other weapon she touches.
